What is a Queenslander? How is one different to a normal house?

As outlined above, a Queenslander is a home built specifically for the Australian climate. In appearance, it's long & rectangular in shape with a large deck around the whole house & Rotundas on either side.

A Queenslander is usually quite big in size, so it's important to ensure the design will comfortably fit on your block. A perfect setting for a Queenslander is a larger block, rather than trying to cram one into a small block.
