Timber Floor Construction
Is based on mixed-species, standard grade tongue and groove hardwood flooring which is secret-nailed over sheet flooring and after the roof is installed. This provides us with a safe working platform, provides additional structural strength and integrity to the house, and takes the drumminess out of a timber floor. It also helps protect the floor from the weather and excessive moisture movement from beneath the floor.
Termite Method
At Tru-Built we use “Whole of house” as our method to contol termites. This means that all the timber used in the house is either treated or termite resistant timbers. This includes poles, bearers, joists, framing, trusses, window reveals, door jambs, skirting and architraves. We can control the timbers used because we have our timber yard which all timbers are sourced from. This termite method does not need any renewal and cannot be breached like other termite systems. Hence we can offer a “Life Time Warrantee”
